Davenport is a servlet-based WebDAV gateway to a CIFS network.
Davenport is a servlet-based WebDAV gateway to a CIFS network. This allows you to access Windows/Samba shares using any web browser. WebDAV clients (such as Windows Web Folders) can upload and download from the shares as if they were local folders.

I wanted to dynamically add my user control as a child to another control. I've used the code with new constructor, as I did for standard ASP.NET server controls and custom controls.

DotNetNuke 4.5 and ASP.NET AJAX
The official release of ASP.NET AJAX in January 2007, marked the culmination of over a year and a half of intense product development efforts by the ASP.NET team. This out-of-band release was a real milestone for Microsoft as it proved that exceptional results could be achieved by actively engaging the community in between major platform releases. This agile model allowed Microsoft to keep up with market demand and satisfy the needs of consumers, without compromising quality or features. However, the true success of this effort is largely contingent upon how many developers and organizations worldwide choose to embrace ASP.NET AJAX within their production environments now that it has been officially released.

would like to offer one suggestion for an improvement… IMC works great unless you check "Supports Partial Rendering" (i.e. AJAX) for the sender and receiver controls. This is desirable to have one module update the other without the entire page refreshing.
DotNetNuke Inter-Module Communication or: How Your Modules Can Get Their Chat On
If you have been writing your own DotNetNuke modules for any amount of time you have probably run across the concept of Inter-Module Communication (IMC for short). IMC particularly refers to the facility that the DotNetNuke framework provides to allow data to be passed between modules during the ASP.Net page life cycle. It is a very elegant solution for passing data between modules, on the server side. That said, it tends to be a topic that most first-time IMC users have trouble getting right. This document is applicable ONLY to Microsoft Server 2003 running IIS 6.0. If any other application is running on the server to support its function (e.g., Cold Fusion), then that application must also be secured.
